What started as a small meetup has officially grown into a thriving creative community—full of artists, students, professionals, educators, and studios who believe in collaboration, inspiration, and elevating Miami’s digital arts scene.

We Became an Official Non-Profit Organization

One of the most important milestones of 2025 was establishing AVG as a nonprofit. This step strengthens our mission and opens the door to new opportunities—sponsorships, partnerships, and broader community impact. It also gives our members confidence that they’re part of a dedicated, long-term creative institution in South Florida.

We Launched this Website

Another major achievement was the launch of www.avgguild.org, a hub for event updates, blog posts, community spotlights, educational content, and sponsorship opportunities. Having a central home for our community has allowed new artists to find us, learn about upcoming events, and stay engaged between meetups.

Thanks to you, our blog has become a living resource—full of animation tips, holiday deep dives, career insights, and creative challenges. A huge thank you to every contributor who wrote a post this year; your words help shape our identity.
